It’s ok to HATE a team in the Superbowl while also RESPECTING them for what they accomplished!

Imagine a world where we could feel so strongly that we HATE someone or something while at the same time having no perspective bias and still RESPECTING them!

For me as a diehard Steelers fan I HATE the Patriots but at the same time, I can respect their greatness and what they’ve accomplished!

I shared my thoughts with a fellow Steelers fan that I ran into in store today and he said I should be ashamed and shouldn’t consider myself a true fan for having this perspective….

I informed him that his hatred and feelings are getting in the way of him truly appreciating others and I believe the world needs MORE EMPATHY and if we can’t respect a sports team we hate how the hell will we as good humans be able to respect others who share a different political, religious or sexuality view than us!

Together we can change the world I truly believe that but first we must invest in ourselves and understand where our perspective bias’s live and how we can overcome them and today with the #Superbowl on tv is a great place to start!
